Bioreclamation provides DNA/RNA extraction and purification services from Human Whole Blood, Animal Whole Blood (Monkey, Mouse, Rat, Beagle, etc…) and some Cell lines (K562 Human, COS AfricanGreen Monkey, NIH3T3 mouse, PC12 rat pheochromocytoma, CHO Chinese hamster ovary).
The procedure precipitates the proteins but leaves the high molecular weight Genomic DNA. This Genomic DNA is concentrated and desalted and precipitated. The DNA we supply is suitable for a variety of applications, including amplifications, digestion with restriction endonucleases and membrane hybridizations (e.g. Southe and dot/slot blots).
The Whole blood may be provided by the researcher, or can be collected from Bioreclamation's animal facilities and human donor centers. Bioreclamation can also provide specified human disease states, and specific mouse and rat strains for whole blood DNA extraction.
