Disease State Sample Collections - Bioreclamation's wholly owned subsidiary SeraTrials, LLC works directly with physicians, hospitals and Institutional Review Boards to organize and collect specimens from disease state patients. Clinical disease state samples are collected in two ways.
PRE-EXISTING SERUM SAMPLES / SAMPLE BANK
First, SeraTrials has an on-going pre-existing or "remnant" serum sample collection program for specific disease states which Bioreclamation has a high demand (Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteo-Arthritis, Type I & II Diabetes, Solid Tumor Cancers, Asthma, "Wet" Age Related Macular Degeneration, SLE and Psoriasis). The disease state serum bank is located at Bioreclamation and specimens are stored in the facility's -80 C ultralow freezer prior to shipping.
SPECIFIC PROJECT IRB REVIEW
Second, SeraTrials and Bioreclamation can obtain IRB approval for collection protocols of specific blood, serum, plasma and urine. We can utilize our network of physicians to obtain almost any disease state material.
