Q: Can I request a quote online? A: Yes, please view our “request a quote” page to request a quote for specific items.
Q: What is the turnaround time for orders? A: Material for all orders is collected freshly and then custom processed. Q: Can we test samples prior to ordering bulk material? A: Customers may order samples of lots and hold back-up material on reserve with Bioreclamation until testing is complete. Upon completion, remaining material may be ordered as pools or as individuals. Animal material can be held as back-up, and for larger animals, specific animals may be re-bled in the future.
Collection and Processing
Q: Can you supply your biological products in small aliquots? A: We can provide human and animal serum in any individual volume you may require. This will help in avoiding the freeze/thaw problems that occur when material is provided in greater individual quantities. Each frozen or refrigerated aliquot can be provided so there is sufficient material for each individual experiment.
Q: Can you perform special filtration? Do you supply non-filtered material? A: Any order may be requested as either filtered or non-filtered. While our standard filtration process utilizes a sterile 0.2µ PES membrane filter, we can use any other commercially available filter (such as 0.8µ, 0.45µ, 0.1µ, 30,000 Dalton, 10,000 Dalton, 5,000 Dalton, etc.).
Q: Can you collect material with a custom anticoagulant we specify? A: While Bioreclamation can provide material collected in any commercially available anticoagulant, we also create custom anticoagulants to a customer’s specifications. These custom anticoagulants include: • Specific anticoagulant concentrations. • Combinations of anticoagulants (i.e. K3 EDTA / Sodium Fluoride; Sodium Fluoride / Sodium EDTA, etc.) • Additives to commercially available anticoagulants • Inhibitor and stabilizer anticoagulant-cocktail combinations. • Acidified anticoagulants.
Q: Can you collect samples from donors with specific disease states such as cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, etc? A: Yes, please view our Disease State page.
